Commands

The commands Link adds, who can use them, and what they print.

CommandWhoWhat it does
/server <name>EveryoneGo to one specific server, by its serverId.
/play <group>EveryoneGo to the best server in a group, for example /play skywars.
/servers [group]EveryoneList every server in the network by group, or only one group.
/players [server]EveryoneList who is online in the whole network, or on one server.
/find <player>EveryoneShow which server a player is on.
/linkAdminsShow this server’s connection status.

Server and group names are not case sensitive.

/server

/server sw-1 sends you to sw-1. It fails with a message when the server does not exist, when you are already on it, or when it is full.

/play

/play skywars asks Link to pick a SkyWars server with room, using the matchmaking strategy. It never picks the server you are on. When every server in the group is full, or the group has no servers, you get a message instead.

/servers

Prints one line per group. Servers that report their load show the player count, and your own server is marked:

Output
lobby: lobby-1 (4/50) <- you, lobby-2 (9/50)
skywars: sw-1 (12/12), sw-2 (7/12)

With a static registry, servers don’t report load, so there are no counts.

Add a group to list only that one, for example /servers lobby:

Output
lobby: lobby-1 (4/50) <- you, lobby-2 (9/50)

/players

Shows everyone online in the network, per server. Servers with nobody on them are left out:

Output
14 players online in the network
lobby-1 (3): Alex, Bob, Steve
sw-2 (11): Anna, Ben, Chris, ...

Add a server to list only that one, for example /players sw-2. Hytale’s own /who still lists the players on the server you are on.

Other servers’ lists are as of their last heartbeat: at most 3 seconds old with Redis, 10 with Cloudflare. With a shared file, servers don’t share who is online, so /players only knows your own server and says so.

/find

/find Steve shows where Steve is, and how to follow him:

Output
Steve is on sw-2 (skywars). Type /server sw-2 to join.

Names are not case sensitive. /find and /players are open to every player, because they show the same thing. If you don’t want players to see where others are, take the commands away with your permissions plugin.

For operators. It shows this server’s name, group and address, whether the registry answers, and whether transfers are ready:

Output
This server: lobby-1 in group lobby at play.example.com:5520
Registry: redis (ok)
Transfers: ready, 5 servers known

/link keeps Hytale’s default permission for plugin commands, so only admins can use it. The other commands are open to every player.
